Sudan

Cosmas Ladu Saturlino, Director, BMI ministry in Sudan – \"cosmas\"

(Sept 2010) \”It is very clear to me that God is sending me to work full time ministry with some of my trained pastors. I have prayed and fasted for some days. Also I met & discussed with all my trained pastors, we agreed that we are going to establish ten training centers in 10 states of south Sudan for conducting BMI Seminars. This a massive work to do my brother. I have seen their seriousness & commitment in the meeting last Saturday.

This new strategy will of course motivate me to invest all my energy& time to run BMI as a full time minisry. Currently I am still mobilizing, selecting & grouping some pastors to work together as one unit in each. Please do pray for me & the pastors here for this dream to come true.\”

(January 2010) \”Dr John Studebaker is my Mentor and Teacher. I had a privilege to attend the launching of his ministries in Africa at Scott Theological College in Kenya as the only Sudanese among many different African nationalities represented during the launching. I have learned & benefitted a lot from Dr Studebaker. His ministry is not for profit but for helping Pastors and fellow Christians from different works of life to find and fulfill their God-Given Calling by preparing Christians for real world impact. I highly invite you to attend a LifeBridge Seminar or Video Workshop. It is Bible based, Spirit-led and Community oriented. I have been conducting Workshops in Sudan since January 2009.\”

Martin conducted a LifeBridge Seminar at a Youth Camp in Mombasa in November 2010. The results were fantastic! Here\’s Martin\’s comments:

\”The Camp awesome! Forty-two young people developed statements on PURPOSE, MISSION and VISION! Five of them gave their lives to Christ! Please thank God on this and pray that God will hold them onto His salvation! Thanks.\”

Your can read more about Martin\’s work with BMI here and on his Facebook page, under Matto Jimalwa.

Here are some testimonies from other LifeBridge Seminars conducted by Martin:

“It has confirmed the things about my calling that I wasn’t sure of. It is a wonderful experience that I would recommend for all.” –Linet Atieno, Communications Director, Kemri/CDC

“LifeBridge has proved to me that we are not here by accident; that God created us for a reason, a purpose according to His will. It’s a spiritual self-discovering process.”-Fred Oguttu, Accountant, Spectre International Ltd.

“It’s sobering to know all my time in this world is being summed up. It makes me realize I need to get busy with Gods purpose in my life.”-Paul Ogindo, Data Manager, Kemri/CDC

LifeBridge Coaching

LifeBridge Coaching was designed to help individuals find and fulfill their “life-calling.” It is especially useful in a time of transition, confusion, or re-evaluation.

Discovering God’s will can be one of life’s greatest challenges, especially for those in ministry or business. LifeBridge Coaching will give your life spiritual vision and focus based on solid biblical foundations. You’ll discover your unique calling in life, and develop a plan to live out your calling every day. personalworkpic

LifeBridge Coaching is typically conducted at our BMI Oasis in Richland Michigan (though we can also conduct it through “Skype” or over the phone). You will walk through our LifeBridge DVD series (about 4 hours) and spend time with Dr. Studebaker to solidify the process (3 hours). We can also spend 3 additional hours working through the “Turning Points Inventory” and Decision-making matrix.

In doing so you will discover your God-given purpose (“why you are here”), mission (“what God has uniquely designed you to do”), and vision (“where and how you will activate your purpose and mission”). You’ll develop a basic “blueprint” for your life – a plan to live out your purpose, mission, and vision over the next 12 months.

We can also help you re-assess your plan at 3, 6, and 9 months.

Several pastors and leaders around the country have found LifeBridge Coaching to be a major catalyst for their own personal development as well as their ministry development and focus. Please see “Testimonials” page.

LifeBridge Services

Bridge Ministries is preparing Christians for real-world impact through cutting-edge education, services, and resources. We serve Churches, Pastors, and Small Groups, helping believers discover their unique God-given calling and live out their calling as a fulfillment of Jesus’ Great Commission.

Our main ministry venue is LifeBridge, a live Seminar (for the entire church), a Video Workshop (for small groups) or a Coaching process (one-on-one). Each participant discovers their personal “calling” (purpose, mission, and vision) and develops a plan for activating their calling in daily life and church involvement. LifeBridge combines solid biblical teaching, multimedia, dynamic group discussions, and personal exercises with a helpful notebook or study guide. See testimonies here.

“ChurchBridge” Church Consulting

ChurchBridge” is a Spirit-led process that will help assess the spiritual health of your church, clarify God’s unique “calling” for your Church, and develop a plan for activating this calling.

Working with your staff and elders, we will first conduct a basic analysis of your church, using several tools to understand your present health as a church and obtain first-hand knowledge of your local church and her ministry effectiveness. These tools include a survey or an on-site visit that includes interviews with your leadership, and a community review.

Then we shall meet with your team for 4 hours to walk through the assessment process, based on the “Tom Patterson assessment tool.” The “Turning Point Inventory” will lead to an understanding of your Church’s overall themes, core values, and roadblocks.

Finally, we shall meet again for 5 hours to discover your Church’s “calling” and develop a plan based on your calling as well as on the Biblical model of the Lord’s vision for a Great Commission church.

Prices are dependent upon the size of your church. All expenses are itemized. Contact us for a quote.

LifeBridge Seminars

Why Have a LifeBridge Seminar in Your Church or Business?

LifeBridge helps Christians answer four critical questions:

  1. Why Are You Here? (Your Purpose)
  2. What Has God Uniquely Called You To Do? (Your Mission)
  3. Where and How Are You Going to Do It? (Your Vision)
  4. Are you living out your Purpose, Mission, and Vision on a daily basis in the context of your Church Community and in your world?personalworkpic

Seminar Topics Include:

  • The Biblical Perspective on Purpose In Life (vs. other Worldview perspectives)
  • Exploring The Purpose Of Your Past
  • Writing and activation your Purpose Statement
  • Developing your Unique Mission Statement
  • Applying Your Mission Statement To All Areas Of Life
  • Developing Vision Statements, Goals, and Faith Steps
  • Re-assessment

LifeBridge is, according to Pastor Bill Goodrich, “biblically-based and professionally executed.” Pastor Kevin McCarthy states, “It was very effective. As a Pastor it helped me clarify my gifting and purpose to my congregation.” (More testimonies here).

The Seminar incorporates Powerpoint technology (or overheads), multi-media, group interaction, and each attendee receives a LifeBridge Notebook (a $20 value).

LifeBridge emerged from the in-depth research conducted by our Executive Director, Dr. John Studebaker, while studying for his PhD (in Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 2003). However, LifeBridge is very “user friendly.”  It is at the “level” of the layperson (that is, not over anyone’s head). We have been doing LifeBridge Seminars for over 10 years.
